Verrocchio's workshop held roughly a dozen people. Leonardo trained there. Perugino did too, then taught Raphael. One room changed two generations of visual culture.

People who already build without waiting for permission. Show us the problem you keep returning to, what you have tried, and what you learned. Your work matters more than your pedigree.
Forge exists for the stage before a company is obvious. The starting point varies by cohort, so read its criteria before applying. For Alexandria, we look for an original idea and evidence of progress.
Specific work and independent thinking. A side project with real users, an experiment that changed your mind, or a resourceful way around a constraint tells us more than a polished pitch.
Forge takes no programme fee and no equity for the residency. Check the cohort page for the support included in that edition.
The residency requires your full attention. Plan to step away from other commitments for the cohort dates so you can live, build, and contribute to the room.
The relationship continues. Forge supports companies after the programme, and you remain part of the community. The end of the cohort is not the end of your place in the room.
